The 2020-21 school year is Mrs. Griswold's ninth year teaching elementary music teacher at Bridgman Elementary School. Mrs. Griswold is a Michigan native. She grew up on the east side of the state and graduated from Escanaba Area High School in the Upper Peninsula. Mrs. Griswold earned her Master’s degree from Michigan State University and her teaching certificate from Grand Valley State University. She has spent most of her life performing in choirs, bands, and orchestras, and can sometimes be heard playing oboe and English horn with the St. Joseph Municipal Band in the summers. She has been teaching private students since she was a senior in high school.
Prior to joining Bridgman Public Schools, Mrs. Griswold taught in Indiana for two years and Benton Harbor Area Schools for three years.
